Piano Nights international festival returns to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/ - The International Festival, Piano Nights in Moldova – Black Sea, the 19th issue, on 28 September – 29 October will bring together again international and local virtuosos, for the singing of well-known works, following one year of break triggered by the pandemic situation.
The event is organized by the French Alliance in Moldova, with the support of the Embassy of France in Moldova and the association’s partners.
Seven concerts will be organized in Chisinau and Tiraspol and in Cahul as well this year. On 5, 13 and 29 October at 19:00, the concerts will take place at the Organ Hall from Chisinau and on 22 October – at the Palace of the Republic. A concert will be given at the Palace of Culture from Cahul on 9 October at 17:00 and another one – at the Palace of Culture from Tiraspol on 16 October.
The special agenda from this year speaks about the organizers’ will to support the culture people after months of sanitary crisis. Artists from all over Europe, musicians of the National Chamber Orchestra from Chisinau, Symphony Orchestra of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, as well as of the Symphony Orchestra from Tiraspol will sing and conduct numerous masterpieces of the classical music, among which five concerts for piano and orchestra by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
