Next meeting of EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - Chisinau will host the next plenary meeting of the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly, due in 2022.

The head of Moldova’s Delegation to the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly, Dumitru Alaiba, expressed willingness for Moldova to host this high-level event. MPs from the Eastern Partnership and European Union countries will participate in the plenary meeting.

The EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly, set up in 2011, represents a platform of dialogue between the lawmakers of the European Parliament and the eastern partners on subjects concerning the implementation of the political, social and economic reforms. It brings together European MPs and parliamentarians from those six countries of the Eastern Partnership - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.
