National Library hosts important event

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- Today, the National Library of the Republic of Moldova (BNRM) opens doors to visitors of all ages, offering them a unique complex program within the 11th edition of the Library Night. Visitors are expected starting at 16.00, in the spaces of the institution and on the official facebook page.

According to BNRM director Elena Pintilei, this year's edition of the event is entitled "Librarians active through equity and social cohesion".

Thus, for those who want to spend time in a pleasant atmosphere, the National Library proposes a mixed program related to the pandemic situation in the country, both online and offline events: book launch, information sessions, interactive activities, visits to library spaces and places with closed access for users, unique exhibitions of publications, magazines, postcards.

It is a celebration of the book and the library, which aims to promote libraries and creative activities designed by librarians for all categories of users. It is organized in partnership with the Association of Librarians of the Republic of Moldova, the National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries of Romania, supported by the Ministry of Culture. The activities within the Campaign are carried out simultaneously in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
