Slovenia to recognize COVID vaccination certificates issued by Moldova

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- Slovenia will recognize the COVID vaccination certificates issued by the Republic of Moldova. President Maia Sandu made the statement at a joint conference with President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor, on a visit to Chisinau.
Maia Sandu said that the event focused on justice reform, fight against corruption and some economic issues.
"A key topic of our discussions is the digital transformation, and Slovenia is a good example of this. We appreciate, in this context, the country's involvement in training our civil servants. We appreciate Slovenia's openness to recognize COVID-19 certificates issued by the Moldovan authorities, "said Sandu.
The president said that the visit of the Slovenian head of state takes place in a jubilee year, as both countries mark 30 years of independence.
Borut Pahor wished to congratulate Maia Sandu on the results of the parliamentary elections. "Thanks to your perseverance and that of the Government, you will be able to lead the country on the European path, even if the process will not be short-lived. You can count on Slovenia's support, "Pahor said.
Today, the President of Slovenia has planned meetings with Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
