Revenues, expenses of Moldova's state social insurances budget to be increased

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - The revenues and expenses of the state social insurances budget (BASS) for 2021 will be increased by almost one billion lei (4.1 per cent). The parliament approved the amendment of BASS in the first reading today.
According to the document, the BASS revenues and expenses this year will amount to 27.49 billion lei. In particular, the staff expenditures, the ones for assets and services, for social benefits will grow, including for updating the coefficient of the indexation of pensions and of increasing the minimal age limit pension up to 2,000 lei starting from 1 October 2021.
The change of the revenues and expenses also refer to the increase in the average size of the allocations, including for backing the people who do not meet the conditions for getting the right to pension (social allocations) – by 131, 266.2 thousand lei or from 601, 863.6 thousand lei up to 733,129.8 thousand lei. Also, the expenses for taking care of the disabled people will increase by 24,439 thousand lei or from 165,561.6 thousand lei up to 190,000.6 thousand lei.
The expenditures for the supply with pensions to seasoned military and their families will grow by 512.2 thousand lei; for the financial support of people in case of disability or death occurred in the wake of labour accidents through capitalization of periodical payments - by 85.4 thousand lei and the ones dealing with the provision with pensions of the citizens who participated in the Chernobyl accident relief works and their families – by 556.7 thousand lei.
