Administrative, economic staff from medical institutions of Moldova to receive higher salaries

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - The administrative and economic staff of the medical and sanitary institutions will receive increased salaries by 57 per cent as of 1 November 2021. The MPs adopted a draft law to this effect in the first reading today.

According to the draft, the unqualified workers will have salaries of 3,840 lei. As for the qualified workers, the salary will stand at 5,040 lei from 3,240 lei earlier established.

The salary will be increased from 5,850 lei to 9,090 lei for the specialists with higher education employed at these institutions. Also, a salary supplement is scheduled to be provided to the personnel involved in the providing of medical assistance to patients infected with the new-type coronavirus.

According to estimations, 45,846.4 thousand lei will be needed to increase the salaries of the administrative and economic staff from the medical and sanitary institutions for the last two months of 2021.
