Chisinau hosts Library Night event

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- During the Library Night, the National Library for Children Ion Creanga yesterday organized events both online and with physical presence, which was attended by several children together with parents and grandparents.

The Library Night Campaign 2021 took place in all libraries in the country at the initiative of the Association of Librarians, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and the National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries in Romania.

Eugenia Bejan, director of the institution, said that the events began with a meeting with the title "Writers join us in the library", attended by writers Claudia Partole, Marcela Mardare and Lilia Bicec, followed by the events "Pajamas Party: We read, have fun and dream with writer Anna Leah "," A story for children and grandparents: We read together "My grandparents are special" by Jennifer Moore-Mallinos, "An adventure in the library: Comics workshop", " Guess what the book is ?: Quiz ”and others.

Also on this day, the institution organized a virtual exhibition entitled "Adventure and Mystery in ... Library".

The event is organized in order to promote libraries, services and events offered by them to the public.
