As many as 560 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,314 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 560 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 6 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 297,232 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 7 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 4 medical assistants and 1 - auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,930 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 172 are in extremely serious condition and 17 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 7,694 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,591 are under supervision at home.

Another 463 people have been treated. As many as 280,754 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, the ministry informs about the registration of another 25 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,854 people have died of coronavirus in all.
