Field Day festival took place in Criuleni

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/- Field Day festival was held at the Porumbeni Phytotechnical Institute in Pașcani village, Criuleni district, on October 1-2.

The festival brings together representatives of agro-industrial agencies, distributors and agricultural producers from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova, in order to conduct thematic seminars and promote agricultural machinery manufactured by Russian producers, with the organization of equipment demonstrations.

The event was attended by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Viorel Gherciu. The official wished the festival participants success in identifying new partnerships.

"At the second edition of the Moldovan-Russian Festival, we want to create a suitable platform to facilitate the access of Moldovan farmers to modern agricultural machinery and equipment. This event is opportune to present the latest trends in the agricultural sector, to test the equipment in field conditions and to strengthen the business partnerships between the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation ", Gherciu said.

The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the support of the Trade Representation in the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau.
