Balti Court of Appeal has new management

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/- Magistrate Ion Talpă was appointed today by the Superior Council of Magistracy for the position of president of Bălți Court of Appeal. Seven of the eight CSM members present at the meeting voted for his candidacy.
According to the CSM decision, the magistrate will exercise the position of president of the Bălți Board of Directors for the next four years.
Ion Talpă has been a judge since 2005, and in 2013 he was promoted to the position of judge at CA Bălți. At the same time, Talpă is a member of the Board for evaluating the performances of judges subordinated to the CSM.
There are currently four Courts of Appeal in the Republic of Moldova.
