Medicine students to stidy in mixed regime, Moldovan Health Ministry says

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - The medicine students will study in mixed regime and the pupils infected with COVID-19 can return to classes after seven days of quarantine, if they present a negative result for the COVID-19 test. The state secretary at the Health Ministry, Svetlana Nicolaescu, made statements to this effect today.
According to the Nicolaescu, as of 1 October, all higher education institutions were switched to the online education, as the Nicolae Testemitanu University of Medicine and Pharmacy is an institution which essentially contributes to the fight with the pandemic through the involvement of students, the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP) approved that the classes should be held in mixed regime online – with the physical presence and online.
At the same time, CNESP ruled that the pupils infected with Covid-19 can return to classes after seven days of quarantine, if they present a negative result for the COVID-19 test, made in the last 24 hours.
Also, the ministry’s leadership said that the authorities would change the shape of the certificate of immunization against COVID-19, so that it is compatible with the European one. The new certificates might be available as of 15 October.
