Moldovan president meets Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu met Roelof van Ees, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Chisinau, based in Bucharest, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials discussed the evolution of Moldovan-Dutch relations, the head of state thanking for the support that the Netherlands has given during the years of our country, including in achieving the European agenda.

Maia Sandu expressed her appreciation for the help offered by the Dutch partners in consolidating democracy and good governance in the Republic of Moldova, in increasing the capacities of local public authorities, but also in the interest of investing in our country. The head of state also thanked the Kingdom of the Netherlands for its support to the Republic of Moldova in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
