Moldova's national football team defeated by team of Israel in qualifiers for World Championship

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s national football team was defeated in an away match with Israel with the score 2:1 on 12 October evening.
Moldova’s team lost the game on the Toto Turner stadium from the Beer Sheva city with the national team of Israel, in a match for the qualifiers for the 2022 World Championship.
Moldova’s representative has so far got one point and is quite far from a qualification to the World Football Championship, due in Qatar. The Moldovan team ranks sixth in the F group. The latter is led by Denmark, with 24 points, followed by Scotland, with 17 points, Israel (13), Austria (10) and Faroe Islands (4).
The last two games of these qualifiers come for Moldova – with Scotland in Chisinau on 12 November and an away match with Austria on 15 November.
