Parliament speaker meets ambasador of Jordan to Moldova

Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - Perspectives of boosting the bilateral relation between Moldova and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today were discussed at a meeting of Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu expressed willingness to turn to good account the possibilities of inter-parliamentary cooperation in diverse sectors, such as the social, economic or education ones.
At the same time, the speaker welcomed the recognition in Jordan of the education diplomas of the Nicolae Testemitanu University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Moldova. ‘’This make us believe that quality of education is also appreciated and recognized in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,’’ Igor Grosu said.
The officials discussed the sanitary situation triggered by the coronavirus pandemic. ‘’I am happy to hear that the vaccination rate has reached 84 per cent in Jordan,’’ the speaker noted.
The Bucharest-based ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan came to Moldova to hand the accreditation letters to President Maia Sandu. On this occasion, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu congratulated the Jordanian diplomat and wished him success in the carrying out of the mandate.
