Chisinau city hall awards prizes on Dedication Day

Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall has awarded 250 money prizes to employees of municipal enterprises.

A number of 250 employees of municipal enterprises, among which the association of managing green areas, housing and communal department, Lumteh, Exdrupo, Urban Park of Buses, Electric Transport Administration, received money prizes worth up to one salary on the occasion of the city’s Dedication Day.

According to the city hall, the prize comes as a gratitude to those who daily contribute to the good work of the Moldovan capital. ‘’Each employee of the Chisinau city hall’s administrations should know how important their work is for this city, that everyone’s daily contribution, no matter the weather conditions, either they work in the day or night shifts, is appreciated. Even if some of the employees of these administrations do not live in the capital and daily run to and fro to their working places, these people are among the most important people from Chisinau,’’ reads an informative note presented by the local administration.

The residents and guests of Chisinau on 14 October celebrated the city’s Dedication Day. The Holy Protection of the Mother of God is marked on this day, according to the Orthodox calendar.
