Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - Romanian acting Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu has said that he would inform the heads of the European diplomacies, brought together in Luxembourg, about the crisis of supply with natural gas in Moldova and would ask them to help Chisinau, the AGERPRES news agency has reported, cited by MOLDPRES.
"This is a critical moment for the government of Moldova. This occurs because of the sharp changes made by Russia as regards the conditions of supply and costs of the natural gas. Thus, I will ask my counterparts and the European institutions to back, with experts and financial support, the settlement of this crisis, as the overcoming of the crisis will allow Chisinau to implement the ambitious process of reforms, it committed to implement following the 11 July elections,’’ Aurescu said.
According to Bogdan Aurescu, the meeting’s agenda will also contain a proposal supported by Romania to include a better coordination as to the security dimension in the package concerning the future of the Eastern Partnership.
