Books by two Romanian writers launched at Chisinau-based library

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - Books by two Romanian writers, dr. Mihai Nicolae and Maria Găitan Mozes, who was born in Moldova and settled in the Bat Yam city from Israel, were launched at the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library from the Moldovan capital today.
According to the organizers, the volume by Mihai Nicolae is dedicated to the Romanians whose communities are in the neighbourhood of Romania. This book presents the history of the Herza region, Transnistrian region, Romanians from the east of the Bug river, South Bessarabia (Bugeac), Romanian from Bulgaria and Serbian Banat. Mihai Nicolae is PhD in juridical sciences of the Bucharest University.
Maria Găitan Moses was born in the Varzaresti village, central Nisporeni district, on 15 June 1928 and settled in Romania in 1943. In 1977, she emigrated with her husband to Israel, where they found their old colleagues, friends and teachers from the literature school: Izu Schechter, teacher Strihan. Gazeta Românească (The Romanian Newspaper) and the Familia publishing house from Tel Aviv contribute to the promotion of her works.
The two events were organized by the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal library, Radio Moldova and the inter-ethnic association ANIMA FORI.
