Moldovan health ministry launched vaccination week

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health, in partnership with the World Health Organization, UNICEF Moldova and the World Bank launched vaccination week, until 31 October.
During the period, several actions will be organized to boost the vaccination process against COVID-19 and to inform people about the benefits of vaccines.
Thus, in several regions of the country, such as Chisinau, Soroca, Causeni, Cahul, Telenesti, Straseni, Anenii Noi, Glodeni, Hincesti, Leova, Criuleni, Rezina, Orhei, Ungheni, Nisporeni, Edinet, will be organized points of vaccination inside shopping malls and in the parking lots of supermarket chains. People will be able to get vaccinated without an appointment, just with their ID card.
Also until 31 October, the Municipal Vaccination Center in Chisinau will operate on an extended basis, between 8:00 and 20:30.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19, 853,658 people from the Republic of Moldova have completed the full vaccination scheme.
