Residents' access to medicines to be facilitated in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - Health Minister Ala Nemerenco today informed that the institution she led had come up with more amendments to the legislation, which will allow facilitating the residents’ access to medicines.

According to the quotes source, in the last months, amendments were made to the procedure of medicines’ registration; the period of medicines’ registration was shortened and the list of compensated preparations was extended.

„While in 2015, over 6,000 names were registered in the classified list of medicines, then this year, their number is a little bit more than 3,000. The list of compensated medicines was also extended and updated with more preparations. Also, the number of medicines due to be provided for free will increase by 40 per cent,’’ the official added.
