Rescuers participate in PRUT 2021 exercise

Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- On October 26-27, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations participates in the International Leadership and Coordination Exercise PRUT 2021. The applications aim at training staff from the operational structures of IGSU from Romania and IGSU of Moldova in order to implement the Intervention Plan common response to emergencies.
According to IGSU, the exercise takes place over two days and aims to verify the implementation of the associated border crossing procedures in exceptional situations, as well as the correct use of the established forms. According to the scenario, three tactical situations are implemented, namely: managing an accident with multiple victims in the Iași-Ungheni area, managing a forest fire in the Vaslui-Hâncești area, and intervention following a chemical accident in the Cahul-Galați area.
In order to carry out all the proposed activities, he is personally trained from the operative structures of IGSU Romania and the Republic of Moldova as well as of the General Inspectorate of Border Police, General Inspectorate of Police and Customs Service. The applications will analyze the possibilities of providing the requested support, decision making, alerting forces and means, analyzing the possibilities of responding to requests, but also the execution of interventions.
For the mission are trained 7 intervention trucks from the IGSU endowment of Romania and Moldova.
