Moldtelecom signed exclusive partnership agreement with Deutsche Telekom Global

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- Moldtelecom company and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier (TGC) have signed an exclusive partnership agreement on the provision by TGC of wholesale services for the termination of international voice traffic, starting on 1 November 2021.
The event took place following an extensive tender procedure for the selection of the operator to provide such services. Thus, due to its experience in the field, the proposed United Voice solution and its reliable implementation, the winner was named Telekom Deutscheland GmbH, represented by Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier.
The director of the Public Property Agency, Eugeniu Cozonac, welcomed the collaboration and stressed that this will generate a number of benefits for corporations as well as simple customers. "Thanks to this lasting partnership, Moldtelecom will benefit from advantageous commercial conditions for terminating the traffic generated by its subscribers, to all international destinations. I am convinced that this will improve the quality of telephone services. In addition, the connection of the Republic of Moldova with the rest of the world is absolutely important at the corporate level as well ", pointed out Eugeniu Cozonac.
Telekom Deutscheland GmbH will collect voice traffic from the networks of all international operators for the fixed and mobile network Moldtelecom, and the company's costs for international calls will be similar to the interconnection tariffs offered by international operators. In addition, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier will provide Freephone International (IFS / UIFN), anti-fraud services aimed at preventing, identifying and terminating cases of fraud to protect international voice traffic.
