Moldova participates in World Expo in Dubai

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- On October 2021 - March 2022, the Republic of Moldova participates in the World Exhibition in Dubai - Expo 2020 Dubai. It is a unique platform for presenting the 192 participating countries, with the involvement of government and business structures, and those interested will be able to visit the given countries without crossing borders.

Expo 2020 Dubai is the first world exhibition to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region. The general theme of the event is "Connecting minds, creating the future", signifying the global need for collaboration to inspire future generations and develop partnerships between sectors and geographical regions to meet the many needs of our rapidly changing world.

"For the Republic of Moldova it is a great opportunity to participate in Expo 2020 Dubai and to show what our country really is. Since 2014, Moldova does not promise what it does not have, but celebrates what it does. Moldova is a European country, with fruits and vegetables with special taste, world-famous wines and authentic traditions, being at the same time open for investment. We want visitors to discover the hidden beauty of Moldova, to enjoy the hospitality of our people and to open up to the possibilities of growth in Moldova. We believe that, although we are a small country, we have a lot to share with the whole world ", said the representatives of our country in Dubai.

The pavilion of the Republic of Moldova at Expo 2020 Dubai is located in the Mobility district, near the “Heart” of Expo 2020 Dubai - Al Wasl Plaza. "Our message at Expo 2020 Dubai is: DISCOVER MOLDOVA - Let the feeling grow in you and rediscover what it means to be the most welcome guest," said the quoted sources.

The Republic of Moldova participates for the fourth time in such an event, first appearing at World Expo - 2000 Hannover, Germany, then at Expo 2010 Shanghai, People's Republic of China, and in 2015, in Milan, Italy. In the first month of participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, the Pavilion of Moldova was visited by about 500 people a day.
