Pupils' autumn vacation could be extended until 7 November

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- The Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health (CNESP) has recommended to the Ministry of Education and Research the examination of the possibility to extend the autumn vacation until 7 November for pupils of primary, secondary and high school institutions in red alert localities.

„It is recommended to the Ministry of Education and Research to examine the possibility to extend the autumn vacation 2021 for pupils of primary, secondary and high school until 7 November in territories, in the first level administrative-territorial units: Chisinau municipalities and Bălți and Găgăuzia, where the red alert is set ”, the 26 October CNESP decision reads.

Public authorities will work with the media to inform the public about the provisions of this decision and the need to comply with restrictive measures and measures to prevent and control COVID-19 infection.

Failure to comply with the mandatory public health measures set out in this decision constitutes a danger to public health and will serve as a basis for the application of measures of contravention and / or criminal liability of individuals and legal entities.
