COVID vaccination points opened in several supermarkets in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- Six additional vaccination points have been opened in three supermarkets in the country and two malls in the capital. The actions take place during the immunization week carried out by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the World Health Organization, UNICEF Moldova, the World Bank.
Citizens will be able to get vaccinated without prior appointment, only with the identity card.
At the same time, all vaccination centers in the country will operate on an extended basis, including on weekends. The Vaccinate yourself in your village!campaign will take place in the localities from Telenesti and Rascani districts, and in other 170 localities from Anenii Noi, Cahul, Calarasi, Drochia, Falesti, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Sangerei, Orhei, Leova districts, Hancesti, Glodeni, Floresti, Falesti, Causeni, Cimișlia, Cantemir, Criuleni, Briceni will be organized mobile vaccination teams on weekend.
Through Moldovan Post Office, 200 thousand informative letters on vaccination against COVID-19 will be sent to the localities with the lowest immunization rate. At the same time, the subscribers of the telecommunications companies will receive information messages and urge to vaccinate, and through the vaccination points and centers will be distributed 400 thousand information leaflets about the importance of immunization.
According to the Ministry of Health, to date, about one and a half million doses of serum have been administered in the country against the new coronavirus.
