CMC rejected Fadei Nagacevschi's candidacy for deputy mayor

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- Fadei Nagacevschi did not receive the investiture vote for the position of deputy mayor of Chisinau.
The Chisinau Municipal Council / CMC / did not today give a vote of confidence to former Minister of Justice Fadei Nagacevschi to the position of Deputy Mayor, responsible for the legal sector, proposed by Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban. The proposal of the mayor of the capital was supported only by the councilors of the Socialist Party, the Communist Party and the Democratic Party, in total 23 votes, insufficient for his appointment.
The vote against Nagacevschi's candidacy was argued by the other city councilors because of his political affiliation.
