New director of National Agency for Settlement of Claims appointed to office

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - Serghei Merjan today was appointed to the office of director general of the National Agency for Settlement of Claims (ANSC) with the votes of MPs.

Serghei Merjan has education in the field of management of public administration, finances and accounting. He has earlier worked at the PROMO-LEX Association, as expert in public procurements, at the World Bank and the Public Services Agency. Also, Serghei Merjan was project manager at the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.

The position of director of the National Agency for Settlement of Claims remained vacant on 10 September, after the former head, Anatolie Zagorodnii, had submitted an application on resignation.
