Moldovan parliament appoints two members of electoral body

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today appointed Lilian Enciu and Vasile Postolache as members of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). Also at the plenary meeting, the two members took the oath.
The candidacies of the two CEC members were put forward by the Faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists.
Under the legislation, the Central Electoral Commission has nine members: eight ones nominated by the parliament and one – by the Moldovan president. Earlier, five CEC members have been appointed at a proposal of the Faction of the Action and Solidarity Party.
