Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/- Today's Official Journal published the government's decision to approve the draft law on public services. This is a legislative first in the Republic of Moldova, which involves the provision of public services in electronic form as a priority, as well as the right of the beneficiary of public services to request the provision of a service at any office of the public service provider, at any multifunctional center or unified the provision of services, regardless of where he has his domicile, registered office or residence visa.
According to the decision, among the innovative elements of the project are highlighted: the clear definition of the notion of Public Services; regulation of the concept of life event, related public services associated with a fact of special importance for a natural person or legal person under private law; implementation of proactive public services that will be provided ex officio, without the need to submit requests or approaches from beneficiaries; ensuring uniform requirements for the interaction of providers with public service beneficiaries.
The adoption of the Law on Public Services aims to transpose the principle of the public service into a single date, from which it results that the beneficiaries of public services provide the public authorities with data about themselves only once, and these data will be reusable and accessed. by any public service provider.
The approval of the respective Law will contribute to the modernization of this important field and will become one of the basic priorities of all state service institutions, given that public services play a key role in the development of modern society. The document was developed in accordance with the best practices in the field, applied at international level and derives from the commitments assumed by the Republic of Moldova in relation to the institutions of the European Union.
