Over 70 per cent of Moldovan parliament's employees immunized against COVID-19

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 70 per cent of the parliament’s employees have ended the full scheme of vaccination. Data to this effect was published in the context of the legislative body’s aligning with the Immunization Week national campaign.
According to the parliament’s press service, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu addressed a video message of urge to all citizens, in which he said that ‘’the vaccination is the safest and surest solution to win the struggle against COVID-19. In this way, you will save your life and the lives of those you love and we will be able to return to normal. I urge everybody to be vaccinated,’’ Grosu said.
Speaker Igor Grosu discussed with the employees of the parliament’s secretariat the need to back the authorities in their effort to combat the pandemic triggered by COVID-19, as well as the importance of the vaccination as the only solution to cease the spread of the new-type coronavirus.
At the same time, Deputy Parliament Speaker Mihail Popsoi, the head of the parliament’s commission for social protection, health and family, Dan Perciun, the deputy head of the same commission, Adrian Belii, as well as other MPs also made video messages supporting the vaccination.
Official data shows an almost 29-per cent vaccination rate in Moldova.
