As many as 1,255 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,313 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,255 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 6 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 337,115 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 16 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (7 physicians, 5 medical assistants, 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,370 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 187 are in extremely serious condition and 24 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 9,898 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,810 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,509 people have been treated. As many as 314,825 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 41 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,751 people have died of coronavirus in all.
