Chisinau Urban Bus Park to take over administration of most profitable passenger route in city

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Urban Bus Park company will take over the entire passenger transport route 23.

Acting head of the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communications of the Chisinau Municipal Council Vitalie Mihalache said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that “by late November, the company will take over the entire 23 passenger transport route, which connects the Ciocana and Botanica sectors ”.

"On this route, extremely profitable, we have already placed four new ISUZU buses out of the one hundred purchased. Until the end of November, all means of passenger transport on this route will belong to the Chisinau city hall ", Mihalache said.

At the same time, the official said that out of the 58 buses purchased by the municipality, 47 arrived in the capital and were placed on the passenger transport routes that connect the municipality with the suburban communes.

In June 2021, Chisinau city hall purchased a batch of 58 buses - 18 MAN and Volvo buses and 40 VDL buses.
