Moldovan president discusses with EU states' ambassadors

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today discussed, in format of videoconference, with the ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited in Moldova. The discussion was focused on the recent developments in the negotiations on the gas issue and their results, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state thanked the EU states’ ambassadors for all expertise and support provided in the last weeks, both as to the supply with natural gas and in the crisis’ management.

„In our discussion, I reiterated Moldova’s commitment to implement policies and projects which will ensure the country’s energy security,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
