Chisinau city hall buys equipment for clearing snow, sanitation of city

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The public transport and communication means general department of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) has informed that a tender was held to buy equipment for clearing snow and sanitation of the city. The new technology will be owned by the municipal enterprise Exdrupo administration from the Moldovan capital.    

The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, informed on social networks that the equipment park of Exdrupo would be supplied with new technology. ‘’The transport department carried out a tender on the purchasing of specialized technology, among which: two aspirators, three tractors with chassis for sanitation, as well as with blades for clearing snow, including with brooms to remove snow from roadway, equipment for putting road marking, a multifunctional backhoe, a pump for clearing the rain sewerage system,’’ the mayor said.    

According to Ceban, the procurement process takes place after a long period when no equipment was bought for the municipal Exdrupo administration from Chisinau. Ceban noted that ‘’only 36 units out of the 52 special vehicles meant for clearing snow of Exdrupo are functional.’’   

Presently, the Exdrupo administration also has 14 functional tractors with blade, three autograders and two front loaders.
