Moldovan education ministry provides explanations on budget deficit recorded in some schools

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) today informed that the volume of allocations needed to cover the budget deficit for paying the salaries to teachers from some general education institutions for 2021 had been approved through the law on the amendment of the state budget law.

„The cabinet of ministers is to approve on 3 November the draft Government Decision on the distribution of allocations approved under the Law on state budget, in order to cover the budget deficit necessary for paying the salaries, registered by some general education institutions this year,’’ MEC said.

The ministry has earlier informed the district councils and the local specialty bodies in the education sector that, along with the Finance Ministry, it worked out the aforementioned draft Government Decision.
