New consignment of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine brought to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Public Health Agency (ANSP) today received a new consignment of 42,120 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. The vaccine is part of the batch of 700,830 doses, bought by the Health Ministry (MS) through the External Assistance Programme Management Office.
According to data by MS, Moldova has received 510,570 doses of Pfizer vaccine in all. As many as 125, 190 doses have been received through the COVAX platform, 100,620 doses were donated by Romania and 285,980 doses were purchased.
As many as 876,595 people have finished the full vaccination scheme in Moldova since the beginning of the vaccination campaign on 2 March.
