As many as 1,074 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,835 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,074 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Ten out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 340,188 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 29 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (7 physicians, 11 medical assistants, 11 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,866 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 335 are in extremely serious condition and 24 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 9,519 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 13,924 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,283 people have been treated. As many as 318,527 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 42 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,870 people have died of coronavirus in all.
