Mobile team of doctors to vaccinate parliament employees

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/- A mobile team of doctors will immunize employees of the Legislature. The announcement was made by the Parliament's leadership.

Today, Speaker Igor Grosu together with MP Adrian Belîi, an anesthesiologist and resuscitator invited the unvaccinated employees from the Secretariat of the Parliament to a discussion on the need for immunization against COVID-19.

Former head of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Institute of Emergency Medicine Adrian Belii answered questions about the benefits of vaccination and the risks for those who will not be immunized. He showed his full readiness to offer recommendations to the persons employed in the Legislative Secretariat regarding the administration of vaccines.

To date, out of a total of 358 Parliamentary Secretariat staff, 75 have not been vaccinated against coronavirus. One of the reasons invoked is the busy work schedule. Thus, in order to facilitate the immunization process, vaccination at the workplace should be organized by a mobile team of doctors.
