Chisinau municipal services preparing for road maintenance in cold season

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/- Exdrupo company is in the process of replenishing the stocks of anti-skid materials in order to maintain the roads in the capital in the cold season.

Chisinau city hall announced that the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communications has contracted three thousand tons of salt and two thousand tons of sand, non-slip material that will be used to deal with problems that occur in the winter season.

Currently, the company has in stock about 1400 tons of anti-skid material needed to be distributed and announced that, in addition to salt and sand already contracted, it will organize a new tender for contracting anti-skid material, but also for the purchase of a lot of specialized multifunctional technique required for road sanitation and snow removal.

At present, road management services are carrying out preparatory works for the cold season of rainwater engineering systems. To this end, the manhole receivers are checked and cleaned to avoid flooding and allow rainwater to drain in time.
