CSM acting head to be proposed for position of judge at CSJ

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/- Acting head of the Superior Council of Magistracy /CSM /Dorel Musteață will be proposed for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice /CSJ /. His candidacy was approved today by members of parliament's committee on rules and immunities and is due to be considered in plenary.

Dorel Musteaţă has been a judge since 2005, and in 2014 he became a member of the CSM. Since June, he has been acting president of the CSM.

Also today, the committee did not back the draft decisions regarding the appointment of Ghenadie Plămădeală and Oxana Robu as judges of the CSJ.
