Moldovan MPs convene at plenary meeting

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - The lawmakers will convene at a plenary meeting on 4 November. The meeting’s agenda was approved by the parliament’s standing bureau today.   

On 4 November, the MPs will consider, in the final reading, the draft laws on the amendment of the code of audiovisual services, the law on regional development, law on the status of the staff from the office of the people holding public positions.  

In the first reading, the parliament will consider the draft Land Code, the draft on the amendment of the law on the principles of subsidization in the development of agriculture and rural environment, law on private activity of detective and guard.   

Also, the MPs are to adopt more decisions on the appointment to office of judges at the Supreme Court of Justice, appointment of a deputy governor of the National Bank of Moldova, as well as the setting up of the inquiry commission on the way of exploitation of useful mineral substances and establishing the impact on the environment.

At the same time, the lawmakers are to ratify the Optional Protocol to UN  the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the agreement on cooperation between Moldova’s government and the International Finance Corporation.
