Redistributions of allowances made to ensure salary payments in budget sector

Chisinau, 4 Noovember /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the distribution of some allocations provided in the State Budget Law for 2021. Thus, from the budgetary allocations (170 million lei) approved for salaries in the budgetary sector, 134.2 million lei are distributed to local budgets for payment salaries of employees in the education system until the end of this year.

The financial means proposed for allocation are primarily intended for primary, secondary and high school education institutions, which are financed on a standard cost per student basis according to the Government Decision. In this sense, a temporary derogation from the general rule has been proposed, which will allow the supplementation of the budgets of the educational institutions with allocations in concrete volumes, estimated starting from the necessary expenses at the level of each institution.

The draft also provides that the savings accrued by the authorities on measures related to the organization of summer rest for children and adolescents, the conduct of the Olympics and graduation exams to be used in the same way, to cover the shortfall in staff costs.

The project also provides for redistribution of allowances in the amount of 9.8 million lei from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development to the Ministry of Economy, as well as in the amount of 700 thousand lei from the State Chancellery to the Ministry of Health in order to stimulate medical workers.
