Revenues of Moldova's national public budget exceed 2020 year ones by 11.5 billion lei

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 61.6 billion lei were collected in the national public budget (BPN) in the first ten months of this year, increasing by 11.5 billion lei against the same period of the 2020 year.
The expenses stood at 63.5 billion lei, which grew by 6.3 billion lei against the same period of 2020. The fulfillment of the national public budget ended with a deficit worth 1.9 billion lei and the balances of the financial means in the accounts of the budgets components of BPN amounted to 10 billion lei, sources from the Finance Ministry have reported.
The state budget revenues in the first ten months of this year were worth 38.9 billion lei, up by 8.1 billion lei against the same period of the previous year.
The revenues managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) amounted to 16.2 billion lei, by 2.5 billion lei more against the same period of the 2020 year and the revenues managed by the Customs Service reached 22.8 billion lei, up by 4.9 billion lei against the same period of the year before.
The state budget revenues were fulfilled in an amount of 42.1 billion lei, by 3.2 billion lei more against the same period of the previous year. The carrying out of the state budget ended with a deficit of 3.2 billion lei and the balances of the financial means in the state budget’s accounts stood at 6.1 billion lei.
The Finance Ministry ensured the fulfillment of all payment commitments for January-October this year, with all payments fully financed.
Under the law on public money and budgetary and fiscal responsibility, the priority is the fulfillment of the obligations of servicing the external and domestic state debt, as well as the payment of salaries, pensions and social benefits. There are no risks of non-fulfillment/ceasing of the expenses approved in the budget, given that the latter has enough financial resources and permanently ensures a prudent management of the liquidities.
