Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has gone to the Incomlac factory, the biggest producer of dairy products from Moldova, during her working visit to the Balti city. The enterprise, with 930 employees, processes about 45,000 tons of milk annually and makes over 100 types of products, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Natalia Gavrilita visited the sections for producing milk and butter and discussed with the factory’s manager the future plans of the enterprise and the progress made so far. The factory is continuously developing – a part of the incomes are reinvested in the modernization of the production rooms. Presently, the section for producing ice-cream is under renovation.
The prime minister encouraged producers to extend the business, noting that the government’s actions would be further oriented towards the opening of new sales markets. ‘’At the last week visit to Brussels, I welcomed the European Commission’s decision on enforcing the principle of preliminary listing of the commercial units from Moldova’s dairy products sector in the system of sanitary and phyto-sanitary certification of EU. Thus, the export of dairy products meeting the European requirements can start immediately after the European authorities assess the commercial units,’’ the PM added.
