As many as 1,586 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 8,400 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,586 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Six out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 343,261 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 29 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (11 physicians, 9 medical assistants, 9 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,852 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 318 are in extremely serious condition and 27 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 9,066 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,898 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,497 people have been treated. As many as 321,388 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 46 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,958 people have died of coronavirus in all.
