Teams of policemen, firemen to carry out informing, prophylaxis activities all over Moldova

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - Joint teams of policemen, carabineers and firemen in the next two weeks will work to solve a wide range of problems dealing with the public order and security faced by the citizens. The actions will take place within a national campaign for the prevention and community dialogue title, Good Day, launched in Chisinau today.
The state secretaries at the Interior Ministry (MAI), Serghei Diaconu, and Jana Costachi, attended the event of the campaign’s launch.
„This campaign is quite special, as we will see the employees of all subdivisions involved both in activities of prevention and prophylaxis, in order to enhance the citizens’ safety and the public order. This is a national campaign and of community dialogue, through an active presence of MAI employees in the society, before a conflict or an emergency occurs. We will be by the side of people, we will inform them on how to act in emergency situations, in order to be in safety and protect the relatives. We launch the campaign, which will lead to the discouraging of the criminal activities and prevent infringements,’’ Diaconu said.
According to Serghei Diaconu, the campaign’s goal is to enhance the safety through activities of prevention and active presence of all employees of MAI’s subdivisions in the life of the community. Over 2,800 employees of the institutions subordinated to the Interior Ministry – General Police Inspectorate, General Inspectorate of Carabineers, General Inspectorate of Border Police and General Inspectorate of Emergency Situations - will be delegated within the campaign, who will daily go to over 200 settlements of Moldova.
Also, within the campaign, they will carry out activities of informing about the pandemic situation in Moldova and measures of caution, in order to prevent the infection with the COVID-19 infection. The joint teams will communicate with decision-makers and medical employees from district Covid-profile hospitals, to prevent the risk situations and monitor the anti-fire safety.
