Turkish foreign minister to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/- Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay a visit to Chisinau on 18 November at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The visit's agenda of the Turkish official includes a meeting with Popescu, at the same time, the Turkish Foreign Minister will be received by President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Speaker Igor Grosu.
Also, signing of the consultation plan between the ministries of foreign affairs of both states for 2022 - 2023 will be held on this occasion.
Discussions will focus on ways to strengthen the Moldovan-Turkish strategic partnership, especially in terms of trade, economy and investment.
