Downward trend in fuel prices continues

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/- Fuel prices in international transactions continue to decline. Thus, during the last period, the maximum price for COR 95 petrol decreased by 0.67 lei / liter, and for standard diesel - by 0.35 lei / liter, the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has reported.

For 19 November ANRE has set the following maximum retail prices of main fuel products of standard type: for COR 95 petrol - 21.21 lei / liter; for diesel - 18.42 lei / liter.

"At the same time, the increase in the exchange rate of the national currency against the US dollar comes to temper the expectations of cheaper fuels in our country," said ANRE.
