Four suburbs from Moldovan capital remain under red code of alert in health sector

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - The settlements Bubuieci, Stauceni, Condrita and Cruzesti of the Chisinau municipality remain under the red code of alert in the health sector.  

At a today’s extraordinary meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC), the acting head of the social assistance and health general department of the Chisinau city hall, Boris Galca, said that the number of infections with COVID-19 had decreased in the city and the capital had switched to the orange cod of emergency state in the public health sector.  

At the same time, the official said that, due to the high incidence of people infected with coronavirus, four settlements from the Chisinau municipality remain under the red code of emergency in the public health sector. ‘’The incidence of Covid-19 is high in the settlements Bubuieci, Stauceni, Condrita and Cruzesti; therefore, they remain under the red code,’’ Galca noted.   

Boris Galca specified that a decrease in the number of hospitalizations of patients infected with coronavirus was recorded in the municipal hospitals; yet, there is, in continuation, a large number of sick people with serious and quite serious forms of COVID-19. ‘’There are no free beds in the intensive therapy sections,’’ Galca added.
