Moldovan State Fiscal Service to verify way of forming prices for socially important products

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) today informed that it would monitor the way of formation of prices for the socially important products, according to the powers set by the legislation. According to the institution, on the immediately next period, actions of verifying the way of formation of prices for social important products in retail trade units will be carried out all over Moldova.
The trader is sanctioned through the collection of the illicit income got from the increase of the trade markup and with the imposing of the sanction at a level of 100 per cent, for the non-observance for the way of formation of the price for social important products, for the increase in the trade markup beyond the limit allowed.
The State Fiscal Service recommends that the tax payers work in line with the provisions of the legislation in force.
The list of the socially important products and the ways of formation of their prices are contained in a regulation approved under cabinet decision. The document includes such products as: bread, fancy breads, milk, yoghurt, cow cheese, cream, butter, sunflower oil, wheat flour, rice, buckwheat, cereals, preparations for newly born children and children, etc.
