As many as 763 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,478 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 763 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Three out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 357,211 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 11 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (5 physicians, 3 medical assistance and 3 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,917 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 215 are in extremely serious condition and 31 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 6,167 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,419 are under supervision at home.

Another 785 people have been treated. As many as 338,245 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 47 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,756 people have died of coronavirus in all.
